Easter!

This is one of the big dogs, Rowan, that Jessie had grown up with and love. Jessie was playing on him for a while, just loving and loving him.

Easter was better then I thought it would be. I had started getting him ready by showing him eggs with snacks in them, a few days before, and by Easter, he knew exactly what was going on. He would find something, show me, then put it in his basket, he wanted to carry his basket with everything in it too. When he found this shovel and bucket set, he forgot about the basket for a bit. We had so much fun, I didnt get as good of pictures as i would of liked, but i did not want to miss how cute he was.

Jessie has always loved animals. He loves them in real life, in books, in pictures, in toys. . .So we knew we had to take him to the zoo!

We rode the train to see some of the animals.

Jessie loves to be in small places. He does it all the time at home too. Last week he had taken all of the shoes off the shoe rack and was hiding in there smiling. Jessie is a VERY happy kid, most of the time. He always is making friends at places by smiling and laughing with them. I have had several people make comments like, "look at the big smile" or "What a happy boy"

Jessie loves the park. When i ask him if he wants to go outside to the park he says "YA!"

He helped Martha feed the ducks (and a dog) bread and popcorn, most of the time he was just sneeking bites for himself .

He likes the playground, but loves to just explore around, he spends more then half the time at the park finding sticks and pinecones, or rocks. He is all boy!

This one is a little older, I have missed a few months... again. But im here to catch up!

Christmas!

Christmas was fun this year with Jesssie. im sure he will understand more next year but he knows that all his baby toys have been switched for nice cool musical and learning toys and books. One of his favorites is from his aunt Martha, (of course)

The runner up would be this box! for him, it was the best thing Christmas morning. He climbed it, slid down it, and even liked being inside.

Santa Claus came to our house and then we went up to Grandma and Grandpa's to open presents Christmas morning. Jessie was mostly overwhelmed by everything, but is now loving all his new stuff.

Train ride

We went to the Provo town mall and rode the train and looked at all the
Christmas decorations with the Prina's and Martha. Jessie loved every Christmas tree we saw this season. Next year when he understands better we will have one at our house.

Jessie saw Santa for the first time at our family Christmas party. He was very cautious of him. from the minute Santa came in he kept distance with always a eye on Santa (pic below). He sat on his lap with Dad but wasnt sure.

We had a birthday party for Jessie on his birthday at our house and had lots of fun!
We let Jessie have his own chocolate cake. He liked it, but had more fun playing in it then eating it. (the pictures are out of order,sorry). We sang happy birthday to him all day and now he loves that song!

He had cousins and a couple friends that came to his party.

His favorite thing is balloons so we had 60 balloons, floating, and on the ground. (we still have them around our house and Jessie gets out of bed every morning and asks about the "boons".)

Jessie was very spoiled for his Birthday, like he deserves!

Halloween 2009

Halloween day was so much fun! In the afternoon we went to Hee Haw farms, a place that is a real farm with activities set up for kids for Halloween. Later that day we went trunk or treating at grandma's and Jessie had his first sleep over that night while me and Chuck went to a party. Jessie got to have a sucker for his first piece of candy!

Only those who have seen Clockwork Orange can fully appreciate how good Chuck looked!

Us getting attacked by a zombie!

Jessie and Chuck got to ride in the train puled by a tractor.

They had a place that was all fenced in with pigs and chickens and sheep's and goats. Jessie loves animals so this was his favorite!

Jessie even got to go on the big slide with me!

Jessie also loved pumpkins this year. I had my porch decorated and pumpkins out and Jessie loved to go outside just to see it all. Grandma's house was fun this year for Halloween too!

Ok, i posted these backwards... so here is the rest of our Pumpkin patch fun!

We took about 40 pictures in the wheel barrow! Its tough getting 4 excited kids to pose for pictures!

Look how cute Kyler and Ethan are! holding hands. (Sorry summer and Sierra) But I couldn't resist!

I love this one! Kylers eyes! Jessie straddling the Pumpkin! Any one living in the Utah county area with kids needs to go to this place! And don't forget your camera!

Oh boy it was very hard to pick the best pictures out of the 182 that were taken today... yes i'm not kidding! but here are the best (or at least the best featuring Jessie) of our fun day!

There was so many good places to take pictures! everyone piles on the pumpkins!

Summer stole the baby bunny out of its cage so we all could get a closer look.

Jessie graduated to a real bath! he loves it. He splashes and kicks and crawls around and cries when its time to get out.

We went to colorado for a long weekend and had so much fun! We stayed in a town called Pagosa springs in ''The big house''. (A huge house on a 18 acre property) It was a much need vacation for us.

Jessie was the biggest attraction. The hunt kids we stayed with loved him. they wanted to feed him his bottles, follow him around where ever he went, sit by him in the car, and wake him up early to play. Even his aunt Martha gave him the special treatment (and me for that matter) by helping with Jessie

This is just last night. We were trying to get all the kids in one, but that did not work out.

Now this is everything, the quick overview of our summer in a few posts. Jessie Is amazing. He has such a cute and flirty personality. He is a mommys boy, which of course i love. He is now 9 1/2 months old, and as of a week ago he weighs 18.2 lbs, putting him in only the 7th percentile for his age, which is pretty small considering his head size is in the 88th percentile!

Marthas house also is a favorite of Jessies. Martha has such fun toys. Hes not quite big enough to ride this bike yet, but he still loved it.

There is so much to catch up on... this post is very random but for a update: Jessies favorite toy and first word was Balloon, or in his words Boon. I noticed at first he would look at it when i asked where his balloon was, then realised he also was saying boon boon boon over and over. I realised it about 2 weeks ago but i think he was saying it a little longer then that. Of course he says mama and dada or dad, but he loves balloons. I even bought a helium tank just so he always has one! Jessie is all boy! He loves balls and books and climbing. He crawls so good and fast and half the time walking on just his hands and feet. He finds obstacles to climb over even if its dirty laundry or dangerous places, hes a climber! He is very independant and does not like to be held. he likes to be going and going every waking hour!

This is from the summer, at his aunt Shalets birthday party. Him and Kyler made a pool out of the bucket of water balloons.

Jessie always wants to play with the controlers like daddy does.

life has been very crazy latly, paired with a non working computer fro a couple months... thoes are my excuses for it being so long! Sorry! These are our family pictures that are now over 3 months old and so much has changed! 3 months in a babys life is a lot of change...

Jessie Loves love loves our dog creed. he always makes jessie happy, although Creed does not hold the same interest (we think hes waiting till jessies a little bigger). Sometimes when Jessie gets hurt and needs a distraction Creed is the perfect medicine.

I just wanted to share with thoes who dont already know, about a week ago jessie learned how to sit him self up. I thought he may have before because i would swear he was scooting around then be sitting up, but was sure when i went to get him out of bed and there he was just sitting there! Hes getting to be such a big boy!

Sorry about the lighting, but Jessie learned how to move, and now he doesnt even like to be held! its kinda sad, but he wants to be going all day long. And sometimes its like he forgets, so he whines and kicks then he remembers how to do it. If he sees something he really wants he is across the room so fast!

We got up real early, even for Jessie (hes loke his parents and likes to sleep in) and went to the 4th of july parade. You can tell he looks tiredin these pictures. The greens came to, and i swear i got some pictures but they wernt on my camera... Jessie fell asleep at the end and even slept through the cannons!

This was Ethans favorite ride at 7 peaks. seriously, he was in there the whole time. Summer says he loves it in there. why wouldnt he? shade, food and drinks... he was so cute talking and playing in there by himself the whole time.

this is a blury picture, but i wanted to post a update and its kinda borring without any pictures... plus he has very few with his dad! And from some of the comments i think i need more words on here...

Jessie update!!!
Jessie turned 6 months on the 9th. He is defantly at the fun age where he interacts, and laughs and plays games with you. He LOVES songs. he gets this real silly cute laugh when I sing to him and swing him in the air. His favorite are "once there was a snowman" and "3 little monkeys" .

Jessie is sitting up real well and loves to be on the floor, and although he can't crawl yet, he gets where he wants to go! its fun to watch. He will see something he wants that is out of reach and he rolls, scoots, and rolls some more until he gets it. He loves to "get out" he will be fussy or just hard to entertain, and we just get in the car and go somewhere and he loves it. He loves walks, but i think his favorite is the store. its fun for me because I always have a shopping buddy!

He now, along with his milk diet, eats rice cereal, squash, carrots, peas,(least favorite) and tryed green beans for the first time today. He also loves the biter cookies, and baby puffs. Oh, and i cant forget water! he goes crazy when he sees me getting his sippy cup of water. he does not take a bottle very well but loves his sippy cup!

Jessie weighs 16 lbs. which is kinda small for his age (in the 19th percentile) but has a big head! (in the 90th percentile) haha! its so cute though. He is 27 inches long.

Jessie loves to sleep, i did when is was a baby too so thats one thing he got from me! he will sleep for 10-12 hours strait, then wake up and eat then want to sleep for another 2-3 hours! i wish i could do that! but it has made it nice to be able to have quality time with Chuck and still get enough time to sleep.

Jessie is so much like his dad. he looks a lot like him (when Chuck was a baby and now) and they do so many simular things. its fun to watch thoes two together.

We took family pictures today. It will be a couple weeks before we get them back, but i will post them. i think they turned out good, except Jessie wasnt to happy (he just had shots), and was tired... sorry liz :).

Jessie is the center of our lifes! I never knew how happy a child could make you. He is my special boy! I smile several times a day when i am not with him, just thinking about him, and when i am with him, when he smiles at me, it melts my heart. We love him so much!
